Wonderful fish, ribs and smoked chicken along with all the sides. The jalapeno baked beans are especially delicious.
Good food and great service.
Great food
Great place to eat fish and things that go with fish
Good Food! Everything was fresh and hot. They had a variety too. We will surely go back. :-)
Always love Fish Tales!
Spin a day at Ardmore riding utv we had seen it on the way down decided to stop in to give it a try some of the best food we have ate anywhere the people were very friendly it is a good place to eat
Really good catfish. Go hungry leave full.
Great food people are super nice God is.good.
Best food and good people!
I give Fish Tales 5 stars . Great. Food ,, friendly staff . haven't ate at a restaurant like this in years. Keep it up Fish Tales.
I felt like that if I wasn't a regular customer that frequented there on a regular basis then I really wasn't welcome..... We had 4 people in our group and watched people come in after us and get immediately seated..... When I said something then it was a whole different story and we got seated..... I will probably never return again
Great food! All you can eat with fish, shrimp, smoked sausage, hot links, brisket, and smoked chicken with all the fixings
Love this hole in the wall. Fish is great and so is the staff.
Not a huge fried food fan but if you are THIS is your place ! Great environment and amazing food , just not a fried food gal
It was ok plenty of choices price was fair for all you can eat buffet
It's like a food cart and then a bunch of other people all dancing around each other getting back to their chairs. The fish, out of the two I had, both tasted rather not fresh. The chicken and brisket were edible, would smash. They have strange sides for a food truck inside of a doublewide, none of which include mashed potatoes, a staple of the south. They have two dessert options: whatever they put on top of their serving place, cobbler and pudding today, which I didn't notice until a moment of staring at a tray of fried fish longingly, and a out of the way freezer that has individual ice cream, which I filled myself on. (14 desserts makes the whole trip worth it.) They also have shrimp. They also sell 15$hats for some reason, I haven't seen anyone buy them.
Nice place. Good food
Always a pleasure. Food always plentyful, hot and fresh. Thank you FISH TALES!!
Great food at a good price
Great selection of meats and sides at a great price!
Was never spoken to just told what our total was. Food was decent. Employees were more interested in their cell phones than the customers. This was our 1st time visiting.
Everything on buffet is delicious!! The pinto beans are my favorite, best I have ever eaten and just don't see how anyone could make a better pot. There that amazing.
The best catfish around but the baked beans are the star of the the meal..Go try it!!
Can't get enough of this place, it's great all you can eat buffet. Pinto beans one of my favorites. Let's don't leave out the cornbread, brisket, chicken. And the FISH. The staff ,very friendly. Just go to FISH TALES....... AND TRY THIS GREAT PLACE. You won't be sorry.
The friendliest and cattinest (as in great catfish) place for miles around. Open only on Friday and Saturday it is the place to be. They have barbecue also, but the standouts are the catfish and baked beans. Be patient when you come as it's worth the wait or call ahead and they'll happily write your name down. The prices are right and the food is good.
Lots of fried food, not much else. Fish is ok, brisket was overcooked and mushy. Fresh homemade fries weren’t bad but desperately needed salt. Pretty much everything was bland and needed salt. The whole place was grimy from years of fried food. All you can eat, but seems pricy for the quality.
Fresh food, friendly service
For the very best catfish or barbecue.all you can eat. It's a must add it on your list to go. You will not be dissatisfied
One of our families favorite places to eat. Can't decide if we like the catfish or the brisket better. Simply delicious, and reasonably priced...
Great variety of food and all is home cooked.Very reasonably priced. Great place to eat.
Some good fish and service
The food here is pretty good. While I would not consider it a great value for your money, I do think the prices are fair. Especially the for an all you can eat fish and BBQ buffet. I would like for them to season there barbecue just a little more heavily when they cook it. Now this is not a fancy place. The décor could definitely use a major upgrading. But if you you're looking for a restaurant where you can just come as you are, pig out on some fairly decent food and go your way. Then this is the place for you.
Best fish in town.
I didn't get to enjoy the food I was working but service seemed good and food on the bar looked great
Pretty good buffet including fried catfish, shrimp, fries, and other meat alternatives. This place used to be a lot better than what it is now. Its no longer my favorite :(
Fish is always hot and service is excellent and if you something other than fish there is plenty of other choices shrimp, chicken, ribs, fries and plenty of sides to chose from and did I mention how good everything is
Food was ok the fish not what it usto be prices got alittle high
Nice people good food and always fresh.
Food is outstanding and the price is rite for the quantity and quality. For sure recommended to any fish lovers out there. It would be great if they were open a little more often, that's my only complaint.
Has everything you could possibly want! Brisket, fall off the bone ribs, juicy catfish, hot links, fried okra, sweet & spicy hush puppies, peach cobbler, apple crisp and blue bell ice cream... WHAT!Thanks Fish Tales, Keep up the great work!
Must have changed owners or manager.. Not near as good as it was. Its ok if your in the area but not worth driving to. I went 2 times after the change. Will not try it again..
Buffet style food, good ribs, catfish, coleslaw. The peach cobbler was all dough and very little peaches.
This is a awesome place, makes me hungry writing this review.
Great fish with many more options. The ribs are super yummy too. All you can eat for around 13.00
I have one question? Where's the fish? The batter is so thick and hard it actually hurt my mouth to eat it. Actually I have another question? What's wrong with just a plain ole corn meal salt and pepper batter? The catfish was so clean that it didn't have a fish taste. I almost thought I was eating some of that Vietnamese farm raised fish they call catfish. But surely they wouldn't deceive us like that. But I do have a pretty good pallet for good ole Louisiana farm raised channel cat. And I'm just not real sure that's what I was eating in there. But I do give kudos to the cleanliness of the place and all the rest of the food was pretty good. In fact that it was awesome. It all seemed to be like home cooked groceries. The only fault I could find was the mysterious taste of the catfish and the severe overkill on the batter recipe. Which in my unprofessional opinion is "too much of a good thing can be a bad thing".
New owners in the past few months. It's back to the way it was when it first opened up under Jerry. Catfish is some of the best around. All you can eat for 12 or 13 and senior citizens get it cheaper than that.
Was great
Food was ok. Nice staff
